Passport appointment availability is limited and you should continue to allow a minimum of six weeks after lodgement to get your new passport.

We aim to complete notarial services lodged by mail within five working days.

Visitors to the Consulate are requested to make an appointment by email ([email protected]) prior to visiting.
Visitors to the Australian Consulate in São Paulo must bring a photo identification document. Do not attend an appointment if you are feeling unwell or have been in contact with someone who has been unwell. All visitors to the Australian Consulate in São Paulo undergo security screening which includes x-ray scanning of bags, a walk-through metal detector and use of hand-held wand scanner.

Opening Hours

For Australian citizens and residents only, the Australian Consulate-General Office hours are:

9:00am to 12.30pm and 13.30pm to 5:00 pm, Monday – Thursday; and
9.00am to 12.30pm and 13.30pm to 4.30pm on Fridays.
Except public holidays.
