The current cost of an Australian passport is:

 *Please note that these fees include the Overseas Surcharge for Australian Passport Applications lodged outside Australia: AUD102 for adult and senior passports and AUD51 for child passports.

**The Emergency Passport is issued overseas and manufactured within 48hs (from the time the application is received until it is ready for despatch or collection).

Courier fee for Brazil - from R$32,00 (vary depending on the city and/or state).

Payment methods accepted:

We only accept cash or cheque.  The cheque must be made out to 'Embaixada da Australia'.  For applications lodged in Brazil, we only accept Reais.

In an emergency, we also accept bank transfer.  Please contact the Embassy for bank account details.  Please note that this method may add additional processing time to the application, as we are required to wait for the payment to be cleared into our bank account.

Credit cards are not accepted.
